Home is wherever YOU are.
You steady me.
Slow and sweet we sway.
Take the lead and I will follow.
As a little girl I would dance barefoot on the hardwood floor preforming ballerina twirls and countless curtsies. You would think the years of practice would carry me into the ballroom, yet my dad calls me grace for a reason. Not by my act of gracefulness, but the lack thereof! Always holding a song in my heart and the passion to dance when anyone is watching, I find my heart full and my feet moving. Still today, I encounter myself twirling, yet beside me I land in the hands of the man who leads my dancing feet in the right direction. In his steady arms I find my stance and my comfort. Catching my steps he makes them graceful again. A song always on his heart and his feet moving with mine. He daily shows me the love and selflessness of our father in heaven who I thank for setting our feet for dancing. I will wholeheartedly take his hand in dancing as he leads me into our new chapter of life.
Finally ready now to elegantly dance with grace.
